DIP ICs are sent from the factory with the pins slightly spread out making them difficult to insert in to IC sockets. With this pin aligner simply insert the IC and squeeze and all pins will be correctly aligned for inserting into a socket or circuit board. Made of conductive plastic with grounding screw to safely drain static.
